The 2022 Scientific Students Association Conference of the Faculty of Earth Science and Engineering invites every students and staff members interested.

The Scientific Student Chapter of the Faculty of Earth Science and Engineering expects applications for the traditional TDK conference (educational competition for students developing R&D results beyond their ordinary exercises, supervised by a professor of the faculty) before 14th of October 2022.
The PDAC conference was held for the 90th time this year. This event is one of the most prestigious conferences in the field of raw material exploration / extraction and mining. The conference was held in a hybrid form: from June 13-15, 2022, Toronto, Canada, hosted the event in person, while the online part of the conference was held from June 28-29, 2022.
The 3-day workshop will be held in Dubrovnik, Croatia, 19-21 October. It will be held hybride, thus you can participate both personally and online.
After two years of pandemic, the ‘Miner’s Sports Day’ will be held again on next Wednesday, April 27, 2022. On this occasion it will be a Dean’s Break “Spent with Sports” for the Students of the Faculty of Earth Sciences and Engineering, providing an opportunity for to spend a day together (doing various sports, and cooking delicious meals).
Without compliting the mandatory internship students are not allowed to take part at the final exam.
Our outstanding students have been awarded Academic Honorary Medals.
The European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) and its Raw Materials Section (EIT RawMaterials) support the ENGIE project, which aims to attract female high school students (13-18 years old) to engineering sciences. They are working to improve gender balance in these areas.
