Dear Students!

The Scientific Student Chapter of the Faculty of Earth Science and Engineering expects applications for the traditional “TDK” Conference (Hungarian abbreviation for the Scientific Student Association Conference – an educational competition for students developing R&D results beyond their ordinary exercises, supervised by a faculty professor). The expected time of the conference will be the end of November or the beginning of December.

Deadline for the registration: 18th of October 2024
Deadline for submitting the completed essays:11th of November 2024

Students of our Faculty have possibility and warmly encouraged to carry out research work at the institutes in the announced R&D fundamental or applied topics. They submit their Student Research works to the Faculty Student Research Council, which takes care about their proper evaluation. Then the authors orally present their works at the University Student Scientific Conference, which is a competition as well. The oral presentations are also evaluated. The best works are awarded; many works are evaluated as the appropriate ones for the National Student Scientific Conference.

Student Research Works can be submitted in Hungarian and in English.

The student scientific research can then be extended for the B.Sc or M.Sc. theses.
