The "Rockers" team won the Innovation Award of the Frank Arnott NGEA 2026 challenge

The team is composed of international students from University of Miskolc, Hungary and Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Poland. Six students of the eight team members are studying at Earth Science Engineering MSc of University of Miskolc, two of them are students of the TIMREX joint MSc along the UM - WUST track.
Five members of the team presented the solution of the challenge at the PDAC convention. The topic of the presenation was a deep learning approach of integrating CNN, AHP and multisource data for mineral perspectivity maping of Irish-type deposts in the Republic of Ireland.
