Professor Gábor Takács’s Internationally Acclaimed Book Published in Another Language

The Russian-language edition of Electrical Submersible Pumps Manual, authored by Gábor Takács, Professor Emeritus of the Department of Petroleum Engineering, has recently been published. The translation is based on the second edition of the book, released in 2017 by Elsevier USA.

The two previous English-language editions have sold nearly 2,000 copies worldwide and have been cited in more than 550 scientific and technical publications to date. As the first comprehensive book written in English devoted entirely to electrical submersible pump (ESP) technology, the work has gained wide international recognition within both academic and industrial communities.
