INTRAW – a project ended, an Observatory opened with Miskolc participation

After three years of intensive work, the international INTRAW project (International Raw Material Observatory) has been successfully closed. At the end it gave birth to the Observatory, with site in Brusseles. This organization serves as raw material intelligence service for the EU clients, with the active participation of USA, Australia, South Africa, Japan and Canada.

The International Raw Materials Observatory is a new independent, apolitical, international not-for profit organisation, set up to support international cooperation on mineral raw materials’ research & innovation, education & outreach, industry & trade and recycling, management & substitution of strategic raw materials.

The University of Miskolc along with the other 12 members of the projectm, has become founding member of the Observatory, which will justify its useful existence through its professional services in the coming years. So, please, watch the introductory video, and browse around the website describing the observatory.
